Open Positions
Tri-County Electric Cooperative is looking for a Full-Time Lineman Trainee to join our team in the Perry District. TCEC is a member-owned electric cooperative providing safe, reliable service to more than 20,000 homes and businesses across 3,100 miles of line. Our employees are proud to serve their neighbors and keep the lights on in the communities we call home.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to build a stable, long-term career. No previous line experience is needed — we provide full on-the-job training. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent (an associate degree or higher is preferred), a solid work record, and a strong commitment to teamwork and safety. A Class A CDL is required, or the ability to obtain one within six months of employment.
TCEC offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, paid time off, and retirement plans, including both a 401(k) and a defined pension plan. We’re a family-oriented company that values hard work, community pride, and helping each other succeed.
Tri-County is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and Drug Free Workplace (DFWP). If you’re ready to learn a skilled trade and serve your community, we’d love to hear from you.
Applicants should submit a resume and a completed Tri-County Employment Application Form, which is available at any TCEC office or can be downloaded below.
Apply before December 1, 2025.
